Time for Another Birthday!
A – Athlete
(He loves
his sports!)
N – Inquisitive
(He
prefers things to be black and white, but he asks great questions.)
D – Determined
(When
he sets his mind to something, watch out!)
R – Responsible
(Yes,
he is an 11-year-old boy; but we have seen significant growth in this area over
the last year! He is the guy you want on your side if you really need a hand.)
E – Expressive
(He can
be a great story-teller and conversationalist; His maturity of emotional
expression continues to advance, too!)
W – Warrior
(After going through the Narnia series this past year, Andrew has really been into the idea of being a warrior – as his name means. He is very strong in many ways, and we pray that he will continue to learn to use his strength and determination to fight the right battles.)
Happy 11th birthday, Champ! We love you like crazy!!!!!

TODAY!
For Grampsie
One thoughtful granddaughter was remembering to pray for her Grampsie as he goes into heart surgery this morning. She wore her heart suit, put a heart in her hair, and had strawberry hearts on her breakfast Nutella toast.
We love you, Grampsie. May you know the peace and kindness of our loving God today!

Christmas Break
Today was the first day back to school after Christmas break. I always enjoy the unstructured time of school holidays. Sure, there are challenges with the six of us spending more time together than usual...but there are also some pretty wonderful benefits. Here is a peek at some of our holiday fun... (No pictures from our trip to Indiana yet, because I didn't take any...but maybe I'll get a few from my Mom to share--hint, hint!)
