For Grampsie

One thoughtful granddaughter was remembering to pray for her Grampsie as he goes into heart surgery this morning.  She wore her heart suit, put a heart in her hair, and had strawberry hearts on her breakfast Nutella toast. 

We love you, Grampsie.  May you know the peace and kindness of our loving God today!

Christmas Break

Today was the first day back to school after Christmas break.  I always enjoy the unstructured time of school holidays.  Sure, there are challenges with the six of us spending more time together than usual...but there are also some pretty wonderful benefits.  Here is a peek at some of our holiday fun... (No pictures from our trip to Indiana yet, because I didn't take any...but maybe I'll get a few from my Mom to share--hint, hint!)

From One Month to the Next...

This is a picture taken last month on our walk to school.  Abby insisted that I get my phone out and take a picture of this tree, because it was "sooo beeee-autiful!"

...And this is a picture that we took on our crunching walk to school today!

We had our first "sticky" snow yesterday.  It was fun!  The kids enjoyed making snowballs, fashioning snowpeople, diving after the football, and catching snowflakes on their tongues!
